IS UNIFI CREDIT THE BEST LOAN PROVIDER IN ZAMBIA?

Unifi formerly known as Unity Finance is a micro finance institution that has been operating in Zambia since 2006. Its goal is to offer working class Zambians with collateral Free salary backed micro loans to cover small emergencies such as medical bills and school fees.

Unifi has undoubtedly made its name over the years due to its flexible payments schemes, low interest rates, excellent customer care and many incentives that are given to  customers . For example first time customers a given a 25kg  bag of meali meal and a bottle of juice.

No processing fees are attached to the loan, so customers will get the exact amount in cash upon approval.

LOAN APPROVAL REQUIRMENTS

Like any other lending institution, Unifi requires certain documents and information in order for one's loan to be approved. Here are the following documents that are needed,
1. Original Nrc, customers are  required to present the original hard copy nrc.
2. Bank statement. You also need to present a hard copy of your bank statement (this will only require less than five minutes to get from your bank)
3.lastest payslip. Clients also need to present their last month's payslip as proof that one is still in employment.

Other details that are needed include, your personal details such as your birthday, home address, two names and phone numbers of your next of kin. Lastly you need to present the phone number of your work supervisor( they will not call any one, those numbers  are gotten just incase you go silent )

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

1)When you get a loan from unifi lets say for example you borrow K1000 you  are required to pay K1210 after 30 days incase you fail to pay the full amount which is K1210 you can only pay the interest (K210) and carry over the loan to next month but you still have to pay K1210. You only buy time with the interest till you find the full amount. You can continue doing that for even  up to six months.

Note: An extra 4days is given incase you fail to pay anything on the due date.

2) You are only required  to visit unifi branch once as a first time customer there after, you can payback the loan and get another loan in the comfort of  your home. All you need to do is dial *414# on your phone and follow the instructions, then you can begin to recieve through mobile money.

You will spend about 30 minutes for the entire process to be done and get your loan for first time customers because they need to verify your information.
On your second loan it will be instant after you apply on your phone(*414#)

note: to find your nearest unifi branch countrywide select option 5 when you dial *414# . Also select option 7 to get their customer care number which is a landline number i advise you use zamtel network or direct talktime without making minutes
